TAC-tite - a ‘knotless suture anchor’ device – effectively meets the emerging patient preference for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) products.
TAC-tite was designed to address the growing number of over 500,000 shoulder Rotator Cuff Repair (RCR) surgeries performed each year in the US and a similar number worldwide. While only a small fraction of these surgeries are performed using the less invasive Arthroscopic surgical approach, TAC-tite holds the promise of allowing significantly larger numbers of surgeons to utilize MIS techniques to treat shoulder maladies.
